Le recadrage en postproduction face aux très hautes définitions

Résumé : Ce mémoire porte sur la pratique du recadrage en post-production dans les films de fiction.
Depuis l’arrivée des capteurs 4K, 6K, 8K… les très hautes définitions questionnent le statut de l’image retouchée en pleine ère du numérique.
Qui fait le cadre ? Qu’est-ce que le recadrage apporte ? Pourquoi tant
de monde y a recours sans oser le dire ? Comment penser et intégrer
cette technique dans la création d’un film ?

Ce sujet étant nouveau, il sera traité à la fois sous ses aspects techniques, artistiques, et de production.

Abstract: This memoir is about the practice of reframing during postproduction in the context of feature films.
Since the release of 4K, 6K, 8K sensors and so on, ultra high definitions
question of the status of manipulated images within the digital era.
Who does the image, who does the frame ? What does reframing
bring ? Why are so many people reframing their shots but not willing to
admit it ? How to think and integrate this technique in the creation of a
movie ?
This subject being new, it will be studied from an interdisciplinary
perspective reuniting technical, artistic, and production considerations.
