L’image photographique dans le processus architectural

Résumé : Architectes et photographes partagent une vision commune de l’espace construit de la ville. Très vite, l’architecte a compris que l’association avec un photographe était importante, le photographe apportant un regard différent et complémentaire de celui du concepteur. Des collaborations se sont créées au fil du 20ème siècle mais avec l’apparition des nouvelles technologies, la vision du projet évolue avec le développement des images de synthèse photoréalistes qui apparaissent dès la conception et relèguent souvent le photographe en fin de processus de création ou en fin de chantier. La communication via les réseaux sociaux devient essentielle, surpassant la presse papier spécialisée et de nouveaux métiers appliqués aux domaines de l’architecture émergent et sont le trait d’union entre les cabinets d’architectes et les photographes. Le photographe apporte son regard sur un projet et l’interprète de manière classique et institutionnelle, ou à travers un prisme plus artistique et dès lors il dépasse les besoins de l’architecte et propose sa propre vision du monde.

Abstract: Architects and photographers share a common vision of the built space of the city. Very quickly, the architect understood that the association with a photographer was important, the photographer bringing a different and complementary look to that of the designer. Collaborations begin throughout the 20th century but with the emergence of new technologies, the vision of the project soon evolves with the development of photorealistic computer graphics that came from design and often relegate the photographer to the end of the creation process or the end of the construction site. Communication via social networks becomes essential, surpassing the specialized paper press while new professions applied to the fields of architecture emerge and embody the link between architectural firms and photographers. The photographer brings his viewpoint on a project and interprets it in a classical and institutional way or through a more artistic prism, he can eventually go beyond the needs of the architect and offer his own vision of the world.
